Neighborhood Housing Services of America is a national nonprofit secondary market that has been working since 1974 to revitalize neighborhoods and strengthen communities across America. As the leading provider of nonprofit secondary market capital to the community development field, NHSA has developed innovative loan products and services in support of affordable single-family and multifamily residential properties. For over 30 years, NHSA has been a lending resource to the NeighborWorks® network of more than 240 local nonprofits in partnership with NeighborWorks® America. In 2000, NHSA created a community development financial institution affiliate, NHSA-CDFI, to provide nonprofit direct lending. In 2006, NHSA expanded its services to the broader community development field.
All of these lending activities are supported by NHSA’s nonprofit subsidiary Just Price Solutions (JPS).
